Hello, I am a graduate of the Behavioral & Brain Science school with a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas. I am currently working in UTD’s ArtSciLab under Dr. Roger Malina as the Project Manager for Esports Player Development project which promotes cognitive longevity and positive psychosocial behaviors of the 21st-century athlete and gaming communities through qualitative research.

During my academic career at UT Dallas, I was a RA for Dr. Walter J. Dowling’s Music Perception & Cognition Lab as well as Dr. Karen Prager’s Couples Daily Lives Lab. During an independent study, I investigated the positive affect induced by musical tempos in the fall of 2018. Over the summer of 2018, I interned for UT Southwestern’s Center for Depression Research and Clinical Care where I researched Cognitive Impairments Influenced by Parental Relationships in Major Depressive Disorder.

In addition to research, I have been President of the Sigma Kappa Delta English Honors Society and founder of Eastfield’s Outdoor Club. I am also a member of Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology (UTD Chapter President for 2019), Phi Theta Kappa, National Honors Society, and The National Society of Leadership and Success.

I began my journey with the ArtSciLab as Dr. Kathryn Evans’ Research Assistant during the implementation of CDASH curriculum at UT Dallas in spring 2019. Since graduation, I have worked on other projects involving the merging of disciplines: Art-Based Learning for Business (ABLB) and Tale of Two Thinking Systems (ToTTS).
