Kofi Sika Latzoo is a versatile creative director, multidisciplinary designer, event producer, and international speaker.
Kofi Latzoo holds a certification in Creative Entrepreneurship, a pioneering program in Senegal created through a partnership between BEM Business School and the British Council, as well as a certification in Gamification for Social Impact from GIZ (German Cooperation Agency) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development in Ethiopia. Kofi also holds a diploma in Digital Marketing, Sponsorship, and Communication for Clubs and Federations from the FC Barcelona Innovation Hub Universitas.
A pioneer in the creative industries and the digitization of art, Kofi Sika Latzoo designed the first commercial brochure for Bank BNP Paribas Senegal in 2003 (sponsor of the WAVE World Touring Exhibition) and led the creation of Senegal’s first fashion magazine in 2011, LIFA, which achieved an annual turnover of more 1 600 000 USD. He founded Gamecampcities 360 Agency, the first African event agency for gaming/esports and talent management, which owns a sports and esports team with two Olympic qualifications and a runner-up title in 3×3 basketball. In 2012, this agency organized the largest gaming/esports event in Senegal in terms of audience, held in a shopping mall and three other locations in Dakar sponsored by Microsoft West Africa and Samsung.
In 2015, after studying and observing the 3D value chain in the video game and art sectors in South Africa, Kofi founded Musel.agency in 2019, a consulting firm specializing in the digitization of contemporary art. Musel.agency was a finalist at the Coding Da Vinci Sud in Munich and the Deutsche Welle Startup Contest at the Global Media Forum in Bonn, sponsored by BMW.
In 2023, he launched Gamecampcities Financial, a fintech dedicated to creating a transversal ecosystem for the creative industries, operating between Senegal, Rwanda, and Canada.
Throughout his career, Kofi has enhanced his academic expertise. An Adobe-certified ambassador and instructor, with 22 years of experience using Adobe tools, he taught Esports Management for seven years at Groupe Kedge Business School, on the Bordeaux and Paris campuses (ranked in the top 50 worldwide by the Financial Times for best master’s programs in management), and at BEM Africa. This experience enabled him to develop the first esports curriculum for private sports management programs in Senegal. In 2024, Kofi will become a visiting researcher at the Artscilab Innovation Lab at the University of Dallas, Texas, where he will continue exploring the interactions between art and technology. He holds the Microsoft in Education – Changemakers in Education 2021 – 2022 Award for being a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert and a certification from the Microsoft Esport Teacher Academy ( M.E.T.A ).
